A high-end residential client approached us to transform their living space into a state-of-the-art home cinema, seamlessly integrating cutting-edge audiovisual technology while maintaining the aesthetics and comfort of their home. Our goal was to create a fully immersive entertainment experience, incorporating a hidden screen, premium audio, and smart automation, all effortlessly controlled with a single remote.
Design & Planning
Understanding the client's vision was crucial in designing a solution that balanced performance and elegance. We carefully selected equipment that would enhance the room's functionality without disrupting its sophisticated design.
Installation Process
A motorised projection screen was integrated into a custom-built coffer ceiling, allowing for a seamless transition between a traditional lounge and a full-fledged home cinema. A high-end 4K projector was discreetly mounted within the bespoke ceiling which was was backed up with a 4K TV, ensuring an unobtrusive setup that complemented the existing interior design.
For the audio setup, we installed a world-class Steinway & Sons speaker system, delivering unparalleled sound clarity and depth. The speakers were strategically positioned to create a surround sound experience, enveloping viewers in rich, detailed audio. Hidden subwoofers were incorporated into the cabinetry to maintain an elegant aesthetic while providing deep, resonant bass.
Smart Control & Automation
To ensure effortless operation, we implemented a fully integrated smart control system. A single remote allows the client to manage the projector, screen, audio system, and ambient lighting with ease. The lighting was designed with dimmable LED strips, creating an atmospheric glow that enhances the viewing experience while providing the flexibility to adjust brightness levels based on the occasion.
